Ac To Dc Transformer AC-DC Transformer Question?

AC-DC transformer question? - ac to dc transformer

I have a guitar processor, and says it needs to 9V and 1.3 .. I can only a DC transformer, and can not find an adapter anywhere. Therefore, you can use a current transformer, without connecting to damage anything?

All transformers are AC.
The output of the wart on the "wall" of power, DC.

To answer your question, it depends!
It depends on the construction and design of the device. If you have a full wave bridge rectifier input, then the answer is maybe. If it a half-wave, then the answer is replaced, is possible.

Engineers consider the resource when it is full-wave on the result of a diode voltage, the result for the half-wave diode) is slightly different (1414 x 0707 rows of records at the time of entry.

If the DC wall wart is an AC input, this could be an additional burden on the wall wart that the wall wart to fail prematurely.

Just buy the wall wart right.
